Markha Valley Trek
Offers some of the most amazing scenery to be found in Ladakh and is one of the regions favourite treks because of the beauty of the Markha Valley, overshadowed by the towering Kanyatse and other groups of Peaks. It is a land of monasteries and high passes, and if you are lucky then you will get to see snow leopards and many of the other wild animals of the Himalayas. The best way to begin this trek is from the village of Spituk. From here the trek passes the Indus River and Gandala Pass which takes you across the Markha valley. Finally it crosses the Kongmaru Pass, ending at the famous Hemis monastery. Our Jeep will be waiting there to drive you back to Leh via Martselang,Thiksey and the Shey monastery.

Lamayuru to Padum
The most beautiful and the longest trek begins from Lamayuru and enters the Zanskar Valley, passing through Wanla and the village of Lingshed. The first stage of the trek can take up to 10 days depending on the pace you want to set and whether you choose to linger along the route. On the 9th and 10th day, one reaches the villages of Hanamur and Pishu via the Karsha monastery. The trek ends at the village of Padum in the Zanskar Valley where the Zanskari people turn a trek in this area into an unforgettable experience. After a day rest at Padum you can proceed towards Darcha via Phuktal monastery and the high passes (Shikun La 5,100 m). The trek finishes at Darcha village in Lahul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh around 145 kms from Manali.

Henaskut to Wanla
A 6 days trek from Henaskut to Wanla. The trek starts at the village of Henaskut around 160 kms from Leh, near Leh-Srinagar highway in Kargil district. There are many passes to climb, including Yogmala (4900m), Niyigutse La (5,100 m) and Pirkiting La (3,700m). The trek finishes at the spectacular village of Lamayuru, where the oldest monastery in Ladakh is located, around 125 Km from Leh city.

Sham Trek
Sham trek is a shorter, less demanding trek which nevertheless offers an excellent experience of Ladakh. On this trek stunning scenery, monasteries and picturesque villages with their irrigated fields of barley and potatos line the way. This is the only trek that can be done throughout the year, as there are no high passes to be crossed.

Hemis to Zangla by Junglam
This trek can start from one of three neighbouring Himalayan villages, Hemis, Martsalang, or Zengchan. It enters the famous Markha Valley in Zangskar via Junglam pass, which is open only for a month. In summer this route is closed due to water crossing and in winter heavy snowfall.
Good Time: September or October.

Lamayuru to Darcha Trek
This stunning trek is one of the longest and most popular among trekkers. This trek starts from the extraordinary landscape and the famous monastery of Lamayuru and enters Zanskar though some of the most isolated villages of the region, including Lingshet, Photoksar and finally Padum, the main town of Zanskar. Further this trek leads you to Darcha in Himachal Paradesh via Phuktal and the Bardan monastery.

Lamayuru to Hemis
Lamayuru, the oldest monastery is situated on the starting point of this trek, which finishes at Hemis the richest and most famous monastery of Ladakh. There are many Passes on this trail which leads through Hemis national park, established to preserve the elusive snow leopard and other wild animals. Further on it enters the beautiful Markha valley, which is overshadowed by many Peaks. The high pasturelands are used by locals as grazing for yaks & goats, and the meadows are dotted with animals.

Tsomoriri to Kibber
The trek starts with a six hour drive to Tsomoriri Lake or Korzok, via Chumathang and Mahay Bridge along the Indus River. After a night halt you will start your acclimatisation walk for a day, where you can visit Changpa nomades and have a wonderful view of the Tsomoriri Lake. On the third day you will start your trek alongside the Tsomoriri Lake. The trail turns southward from Nurboo Sumdo and starts traversing along the Parang Chu valley surrounded by towering snow capped mountains. On the seventh day you will trek over a glacier to reach Parangla 5880m. Crossing the pass the landscape suddenly changes as you enter the high mountains of Lahul & Spiti. The final day of the trek takes you to the Kibber viilage in Himachal Pradesh where this wonderful trek finishes. After the trek you can extend trip and visit Ki, Lhalung, Pin and Tabo monasteries in the Spiti Valley by Jeep. From here we will drive back to Manali.
