Ladakh is a trekker's paradise in North India. If adventure excites you then one of these treks / climbs will offer you an unparalleled experience into this land of high passes.
Stok Kangri

Stok Kangri is one of the most beautiful peaks in Ladakh. By Ladakhis it is called “Kanglachan” and “Parchakangri” meaning “view of all the mountains”. The climb is not technically difficult and requires no special mountaineering skills. This is a great opportunity for people who would like to attempt their first Himalayan summit. In clear weather the summit provides spectacular views of the Karakoram Range, including K2 and the Saser peaks.
Stok Kangri, standing at 6,125meters, is one of the highest peaks in the Zanskar and Ladakh ranges.
The trail leads through several remote and picturesque villages and monasteries to the high Nimaling Plain below the imposing peak of Kang Yatze.
The climb of Stok Kangri is both challenging and interesting and offers a varied trekking peak holiday for someone seeking his or her first Himalayan summit.
